Raspberry Pi

Many years ago I was a programmer. I learned at the only place you could at the time, university. From there I went to a number of companies where (initially) I programmed a number of things in a number of languages.

However, eventually I “retired from Engineering to Marketing/Product Management” partly because I thought it would be more challenging, my argument being “Engineering always has an answer whereas with Product Marketing you influence the possible answers by what you do”.

A few years ago I retired from work altogether and have been delighting myself ever since. However, one of my first loves is still the logic of programming. I have found a solution in the Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi gives me the opportunity to play around at various things secure in the knowledge that I can’t break anything expensive or vital. I have a few ideas of what I would like to achieve and this part of the blog shows my tracks towards those goals.
