The poor weather continues, the snow doesn’t seem to want to melt. But it certainly seems to have increased the variety of birds visiting the garden.
Today features the Jay which seem to be searching around in the garden for the acorns it buried in the autumn but which is equally happy to take the peanuts we scattered around and charing the grey squirrels away (for which we are grateful). They come in from the copse over the back fence and we’ve seen four at the same time squabbling around and trying to eat everything available.
Colourful, noisy wonderful birds.
