The snow remains so there’s still not much to do in the garden. We live in the suburbs but are lucky because our garden backs on to a copse of trees and open ground. We therefore get a wide range of birds in the garden and the bad weather has increased the birds coming to our feeders.
Here’s a picture of a Redwing and Fieldfare in the garden (Redwing at the back), birds we have very occasionally but they’re after the seeds and nuts we’ve put out. There were a small flock of Redwings (about five) but only one Fieldfare.
